It follows the story of a young married couple, Paige and her doting husband, Leo. The film starts with a brilliantly shot car-crash scene, in which Leo escapes with just a few bruises, while he helplessly watches Paige undergoing major injuries, which result in memory loss. Then on, the movie takes us through the beautiful relationship that they share, which is sure to make your heart melt as you watch it with the inadvertent ‘awws’. It turns out that Paige has lost only a part of her memory, and can remember the events that took place until five years ago but nothing after that. This is ironic, considering that she was estranged from her parents after that, broke up with her fiancé, and fell in love with Leo. When she regains consciousness from the coma, Paige feels insecure around Leo, despite of his claims to be her husband and pleadings to return back home to her family. The movie centers on Leo’s unyielding attempts to win his wife’s heart, and make her fall in love with him all over again. Watch The Vow online to see whether he manages to do so. Channing Tatum excels in his role as Leo, and is the undisputed hero of the film. It would take a very hard-hearted viewer not to feel for this man, as he struggles to win the heart of a woman who once loved him with all her heart.
