The Secret World of Arrietty Movie Story Line:- Hiromasa Yonebayashi’s critically acclaimed film is based on The Borrowers, a 1952 children’s fantasy novel by Mary Norton. When Haru discovers the clock family’s residence under their floorboards, Arrietty’s family is endangered as they are compelled to vacate the premises and their beloved residence, then and there. The discovery of a girl as one of the four-inch tall members of the clock family brings disaster into their life that now tumbles in the hands of Sadako, her maid and Sho. Arrietty’s clock family is a descendent of the Borrowers. Arrietty mistakenly turns Sho into her friend, only to find that Sho is infected with an incurable dangerous heart-ailment. Their blooming bonding has Haru, the servant in that residence to doubt something happening under the floorboards. When Haru locates Arrietty’s family beneath their floorboard, the Clock family falls in a compromising position as they are forced to leave the house immediately. Arrietty’s one wrong step that leads to their discovery invites sheer calamity for the Clock family, who at present are left to the mercy of Sadako, her maid and Sho.
